Privacy policy

Donkley.ai ("Donkley", "we") is operated by the owner of Donkley.ai, based in Colorado, USA. It sells jobs that are completed by AI models. This policy says what we collect, why, who processes it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Order details: your email, the job you ordered, what you typed into the order form, and any file or photo you upload. Photos are resized and stored only to do your job.
- Waitlist and suggestions: your email if you join a plan waitlist or leave it with a job idea.
- Results: the work the AI produces for you.
- Payment status: whether you paid and a payment reference. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic logs: IP address and request times, for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
Only to do the job you ordered, deliver the result, take payment, give refunds, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your data. We do not use your inputs, files, or results to train AI models, and our AI providers' commercial API terms do not allow them to train on it either.

We'll update this list before adding a new subprocessor.
How long we keep it
Your inputs, uploaded files, and results are deleted from our system 30 days after your order. Waitlist emails and emails left with job ideas are deleted after 12 months. Server logs (IP addresses and request times) are kept for up to 30 days. We keep order and payment records (email, job type, price, dates) as long as tax and accounting law requires. AI providers may keep API data for a limited time under their own policies (for example, for abuse monitoring) before deleting it.
Accounts, cookies, and chat
If you sign in, we keep your email, your saved preferences (like "no fish"), your plan and schedules, and a list of your jobs. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. "Ask a donkey" chat messages are sent to the AI to answer you; we don't save the conversation. Please don't type payment, bank, or ID numbers into the chat.
Your choices
Signed-in customers can download their data or delete their account from the account page. You can also email privacy@donkley.ai to ask what we hold about you or to delete it sooner.
Children
Donkley is for adults 18 and older, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. Some jobs are about family life; for those, use a first name or nickname only, and don't upload children's photos or birthdates. If you think a child has given us information, email privacy@donkley.ai and we'll delete it.
Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), private results links, limited admin access, and automatic deletion. Don't upload data you're not allowed to share, such as other people's sensitive personal information.
