I've drafted Juniper & Pine's cookie policy, banner text and setup checklist below, ready to paste into Word. Because you ship to the UK, the banner uses the stricter "nothing extra runs until the visitor agrees" model for everyone, with an optional US "Do Not Sell or Share" add-on. My web lookups ran out partway through, so only two tools have confirmed cookie details: Google Analytics 4, from Google's official help page, and the Meta Pixel, from independent cookie-consent sites rather than Meta's own page. Every other name or duration that still needs checking says [confirm with your cookie scan] or [confirm purpose]. Once you've run a cookie scan, you can send me the results with your free change request and I'll fill in the gaps.

What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit. They help the site remember things, like what's in your cart or whether you've already said yes or no to cookies.
Websites can also use tools that work like cookies, such as pixels (tiny bits of code that report when a page loads) and local storage (another way your browser saves small bits of information). In this policy, we call all of these "cookies."
How we use them
At Juniper & Pine Candle Co., we use cookies to:
- Run our shop. This includes keeping items in your cart, handling checkout and keeping payments secure.
- Remember your choices, such as your cookie preferences.
- Understand how people use our site, so we can improve it. This only happens if you say yes.
- Show you relevant ads and emails, and measure whether they work. This only happens if you say yes.
We only use cookies that aren't strictly necessary after you agree to them. You can change your mind at any time.
Cookie categories explained in plain English
Strictly necessary: The site can't work without these. They keep your cart, checkout, payments and security running, and they remember your cookie choices. They're always on.
Preferences/functional: These add helpful features, like showing product reviews. If you turn them off, some features may not work as well.
Analytics/performance: These help us see which pages people visit and how they move around the site. We use what we learn to make the site better. They're off unless you turn them on.
Marketing/advertising: Our marketing partners use these to show you ads, measure how well those ads work and send you emails that fit your interests. They're off unless you turn them on.

Third-party cookies
Some tools on our site come from other companies, like Google, Meta, Klaviyo, YouTube, Judge.me and Stripe. Some of their cookies are saved under our website's name ("first party"), but they still send information to that
